Organization Validation (OV) certificates

OV TLS certificates provide a higher level of trust than DV certificates, thanks to the full validation of the organization and details included in the certificate. The organization validation enables a visitor to authenticate server and website thanks to the vetted information in the OV certificate. Authentication helps you to get trust and more customers.

OV certificates can be used in many ways and their usage is recommended everywhere, for example corporate websites, public bodies, e-shops and intranet/extranet portals. The OV certificate is issued quickly (usually in one day), because certification authority does not check so many details (EV vetting is more comprehensive).

The browser informs the visitor about encryption with a lock icon. Basic information (certificate authority, validity, etc.) is displayed in the certificate details, plus information about the vetted company for which the TLS certificate was issued
